ABOUT ME

Aratrika Bhattacharya is a multilingual singer, composer, and instrumentalist from Madhyamgram, Kolkata, India. Born into a musically enriched family, she developed a passion for music at a very young age under the guidance of her mother, who remains her first inspiration and strongest influence.

Specializing in Semi-Classical and Light Music, Aratrika has been pursuing formal musical training for over 11 years. She is trained in Semi-Classical music at Lalitkala Institute under the guidance of Sri Simanta Sarkar and continues her study of Hindustani Classical Music under Pandit Niharranjan Bandopadhyay of the prestigious Bishnupur Gharana. She has also received training in Western Music from renowned Western Classical vocalist Eric Forster, a faculty member associated with A.R. Rahman's music institution in Germany.

Inspired by legendary singers Lata Mangeshkar and Shreya Ghoshal, Aratrika has participated in several prominent television reality shows, including:

Aratrika's recording journey began with her debut Bengali album "Tomari Jonno" (2019), released by Angel Digital, composed by Banikantho Saha with lyrics by Lilamoy Patra and Abhijit Titul Dutta.

She subsequently released the original Bengali song "Durbin" in 2020 through Rooh Music Company. Since then, she has released numerous Bengali, Hindi, and devotional songs through various reputed music labels.
